Young Birders

Young boy with binocularas

If we want to continue the care for conservation and wildlife habitats for birds and other wildlife, we need to share the wonders of nature with our grandchildren now, and every chance we get.

Exposing children to joys of birdwatching early, fosters a lifelong love of nature, promotes environmental stewardship, and offers a calming, screen-free activity that boosts mental well-being. This engaging hobby improves cognitive skills like patience, observation, and identification, while encouraging physical activity through exploration. And, we need future birders to care like we do.
